1 Star OK but mostly not good
I bought this model because the Logitech support claimed that it had full feature software support in Win2000. It doesn’t!

Pros:

Good RF performance, no trouble receiving the signal from several feet.

Works with both USB and PS2 connections.

Cons:

Driver does not seem to recognize the mouse, and so there is no way to assign functions to the extra 5 buttons; it only acts like a 2 button scroll mouse.

Wheel button is so hard to press that it is useless.

Mouse is very heavy and unbalanced.

The Logitech drivers are pitiful garbage. I was able to get the wheel button to function using the MS Intellipoint driver, but it is too difficult to press the wheel. Bottom line is it doesn’t work as advertised so it gets returned.

5 Stars I really like this mouse
I bought this mouse about a month ago for my home theater PC, I sit about 5-7 feet from the computer and I had no problems with reception at all. My only complaint is that I can not figure out the tilt wheel, It seems like a really cool feature, but from what I have heard it is not fully integrated into Windows XP, so no blame to the mouse.

This is another Logitech product I have in my home and it exceeds my expectations. The mouse works perfectly and has easy scrolling and lightening fast response. The features are a perfect match for all applications. The ergonomics are extremely well designed and reduce any fatigue. A perfect mouse for home or office use. 5 Stars Great way to stream music through your house
I actually bought this for the receiver only - to add to my existing Logitech “music anywhere” system which has the USB dongle to stream mp3s / WMAs from a pc. Now I have two receivers and so now two stereos (home theatre and stereo in back room) at opposite ends of my house can punch out playlists (at different times, can’t pair with two bluetooth devices) depending on where I am working or relaxing.

I’ve had both receivers working for close to 9 months now and apart from some very occasional interference from other nearby BlueTooth devices (I suspect in my neighbour’s house) they’ve worked perfectly.

Fantastic product, great sound, bargain price. About as good as it gets.

Bought this at $35 bucks a month ago, WOW very amazing.

This device can stream my ipod music from all corner of my house (1000sqm). No distortion at all. sound not much diff from plugging in. Unless u have audiophile ears u are not missing anything. This is one cheap way of having wireless music system can be able to control anywhere around the house.

All for 35 bucks.

4 Stars Easy to set up…works great
Bought this with the intent of streaming music from my computer to my relatively antiquated (4+ year old) home audio system and I’m delighted with it. It is easy to set up, works like a charm and meets my needs.

I can now use the content and functionality of ipod, itunes or Windows Media Player to stream music and playlists to my receiver.

4 Stars Great Piece of Work
This system makes me truly portable around the house. Added to my wireless headphones, those pesky wires are almost a thing of the past. The only downsides are:

Anything that runs off a 2.4ghz bandwidth DOES interfere with it (microwave ovens, some phones, train communications apparently-since everytime one goes by, the thing drops badly), other bluetooth devices. Lately, something in my area has been hopping onto the bluetooth’s device and won’t let go (some 2.4ghz item). I have to pull the device’s power and wait until whoever it is discontinues. If I reconnect too soon, it connects with whoever and not to the unit’s remote.

The other problem is the common one with bluetooth; they only have a 33 foot range.

Battery time isn’t as much as I would like and you can’t replace the lithium battery.

Because of these drawbacks, I downgraded the item to a 4 star. I have been using these for over a year now and own several units. I would be lost without them.

5 Stars Really meets my needs
I use the wireless system at school to save time and effort with the recordings I use with my music students. I plug it into my iPod or the headphone jack of my computer and it plays beautifully! I don’t have to be in line of sight, either. It works flawlessly throughout my rather large room. A friend told me to be sure it worked if my iPod is in my pocket and I am folk dancing with the kids (lots of turning and movement.) IT DOES!!!

This is an awesome item, great range, no lag. But this is a normal green attack controller, just like Logitech always used to sell new for less than the Precision controller. Don’t give in to the idiots selling this item just because it’s green, go to Logitech’s website and pick it up for half the price.

These controllers are a great alternative to the expensive x-box wireless controllers or even to logitech’s more expensive wireless controllers. Though they do not have a rumble feature, this allows for a longer battery life, plus a lightweight and easy grip. The controllers respond immediately and are easy to adjust to. We have had no promblems with response or delays, and it’s great not to worry about dragging a cord around as you play. I would recommend these to anyone searching for a wireless Xbox controller… you won’t be dissapointed.

I have tried and owned 3 different brands of wireless controllers and by far this one is the best one. Easy to set-up and use. It’s the most solidly constructed controller you’ll find. The others I’ve owned have connection issues if playing with more than one, have battery life problems, or aren’t durable enough for kids to use on a regular basis. I have the Playstation set and the Xbox set and wouldn’t recommend any other brand for wireless. Best Buy !!

straight up…this controller is SICK.. nice dark green color (halo style) with no vibration… from my experiences, i believe that the vibration can throw off my concentration… also wears the batteries down to quick (black logitech).. this controller is just at precise as the precission controllers and as a bonus.. or so it might seem.. the attck controller is actully lighter than the other logitech controllers and seems to be pretty durrable.. all in all.. this ocntroller is one of the best wireless logitechs i’ve ever used…. very responsive..NO LAG

3 Stars Logitech Wireless PS2 Controller
Our 14 y.o. daughter LOVES this wireless controller! It works great with all her PS2 games except the 2008 version of Soccer. For some reason this controller goes all funky when she plays her new soccer game, so she has to switch over to the corded controller. I sure hope the wireless will be compatible with all the other 2008 games. If not the $28 we spent will have been a waste.

I ordered 2 of these controllers and both work great! The only problem I have with these (and yes both do the same) is that the directional pad sounds cheap. They give out this loud plastic-clanky sounds that gets pretty annoying if your not the one playing. Otherwise a good controller

yes it’s dissapointing that no other controller can hold a candle to this one and I”ve tried several others before this one. This blows every other wireless out of the water with out a second thought.

3 Stars Great electronics - bad fit
This controller is a great wireless controller if your hands don’t fit the regular wired PS2 controller. I purchased this controller for some range since I have a 42 inch LCD HDTV (I sit far away). The buttons are a bit cheap, the joysticks are a joke (but I am a serious gamer) and the darn thing just did not fit my hand correctly. The area where the batteries go in (directly underneath between the control pad and shape buttons) is quite thick and made my middle finger and ring finger hurt. The shape and overall feel is not that great. The receiver is the best part!!! Most PS2 wireless controllers have HUGE receivers that stick out funny - this one is compact and looks sleek. Battery life is average for a wireless, nothing special. Range would be tough to exceed. Overall, this controller is average.

4 Stars brilliant compared to my laptop speakers….
This speaker is great for those who, like me, have a laptop whose speakers put out less volume than headphones(Acer, incidentally.) Quite loud. Not the best speaker I’ve heard but quite impressive for a single small USB speaker. My one complaint is that it would be nice to have an adjustable bracket to clamp onto the side of the laptop right around the USB port, because I worry that the speaker is slowly weighing down and breaking the USB port.

Listening to movie downloads/DVDs on my Lenovo X61 was painful- until I got this little powerhouse. So small & light it really can fit in my laptop bag for carry-on. Flexible wand on this solidly built speaker lets me put it any position I need at the moment. Plenty loud enough w/o distortion for small group presentations. Sure, larger speakers have more bass, but they aren’t portable enough for me and this is a pleasure to listen to when I am on the road and don’t have to/want to use earphones. Also had a great customer service experience with JLab Audio that fixed a shipping glitch to my total satisfaction. Great product, great people.

5 Stars Really is a Revolution
I’ve had this mouse for about a month now and I can say it is just plain awesome. It is wonderful for everyday use or even hardcore gaming. The battery life is pretty good and the sleep mode saves a lot of juice if you forget to shut it off when not in use. The battery also fully charges in a good amount of time i’d say from about 20% to 100% capacity in about an hour or less.

Ive had absolutely no problems with this mouse whatsoever, though i realise a month isnt a very long time. I am so in love with this thing that I will be ordering atleast another one just in case this one dies on me. I’ve seen this mouse sold in Best Buy for $100 so this is a steal on here.

All the buttons and wheels need to be experienced. As a gamer i think my favorite feature was the scroll button on the side which lets me minimize any application or switch between programs. Good for switching music tracks, reading forums, multiple accounts on MMO’s etc. the browser search button is also very nice. One click will open your internet browser to whatever start page you set. the two side buttons default purpose is a forward and back page option which has it’s uses as well. From my understanding all these buttons are fully programmable but I’m pretty happy with the defaults so havnt messed with any editing software. The fast scrolling wheel works as advertised and is very useful.

This mouse is also very comfortable to use. It fits my hand very well and the thumb rest is a nice touch. It also looks very pleasing and not to gaudy like some of these “Gaming Mice” I was considering. Do yourself a favor and get yourself one of these!

3 Stars My Undead Mouse… a REFURB story
Feature rich item that by design seems excellent… upon using it for a week, it’s very very suspect. I got this with the DiNovo Edge keyboard and both look great and the cradle is a nice option. Unfortunately upon purchase the battery is already at 3/4s full stating I have “15 days left” of usage. Which dropped to about 10-11 after a week, fully charged, with the graphic showing between 1/2 and 3/4 full at full charge. Not good. I use this in Bootcamp so it works on both Mac and PC fine, software on PC has a few more options but honestly there’s not much of a difference. What does fail on both, at least on my REFURB, was that the connection kept lagging… so whenever I paused the mouse it would remain frozen for 1-5 seconds before shaking it around and getting it to wake up. This varied depending on the OS and the activity of the machine, but in games it was killing me. I am returning it since the few reviews on here for the REFURB version make me doubt the longevity of these mice, even new. My suspicion is that they die a lot and are resurrected and resold, and zombie REFURB mice are not worth 50 bucks sorry, no matter how awesome the features.

5 Stars Outstanding MX Revolution Laser Mouse
I found this Wireless mouse to be everything I wanted. Several programable buttons and the “frictionless” scroll wheel are very nice features. The setup software was easy to install and use for setup of the mouse functions. The battery life is excellent and it autosleeps when not moved for a few seconds to save on battery. It also recharges very quickly in the docking station. All of my previous laser mice had a bright red laser light but this one emits no visible light, must be how they get the long battery life….. I recommend this product.

1 Star DEFECTIVE–widespread problem with this model
I have bought many refurbished products and this one unfortunetly is just a plain lemon. There is a widespread common problem with this mouse. The mouse will not charge. When you put the mouse in the charging cradle, it will start to charge and then flash red and try again. Over and over try to charge and then flash red while never actually charging.

Note to Amazon: Love you guys but I would push this batch of junk back to Logitech. It isn’t worth taking negative feedback on defective products. I would pull this product off your site immediately. How bad could it be?? Pull a refurbed Logitech MX Revolution mouse off your warehouse shelf and plug in. If you get a flashing red light after 5 minutes of charging or so, DEFECTIVE.

This is a pretty nice cordless mouse. I always trust the Logitech brand. However the one gripe I have is the fact that there is no on/off switch. It eats batteries like crazy. I recommend you buy rechargable batteries because you will need it. Other than that, there have been no problems in regards to working the mouse or failures.

The construction is good. Comfortable to wear. Takes no effort to install on Mac. No said input problem on my MacBook 1.5.4 so far.

This is my first wireless headphone so the freedom it brings feels GREAT. Being able to talk on Skype with no wire attached is wonderful. The sound quality is also much better than I expected. Pop music and casual listening are very good. Don’t know the battery life yet.

I noticed with the Plantronic USB headphone, iTune automatically go into pause when I dial on Skype. This unit does not do that and I had to turn off iTune manually. Would nice to have that.

1 Star Outbound audio is awful.
I was going to buy these but I’ve been helping a friend debug problems with his - the outbound sound quality is hideous -, it sounds like it’s going through a signal chopper, like talking into a fan. I wouldn’t

go anywhere near these things until logitech addresses these problems. BTW this when used with the USB ports

on the Macbook Pro. I suppose it might work with other machines but really if it doesn’t work with the MBP, the best most wanted laptop out there, that’s pretty dumb.

It was so simple to set up, and the sound is great! I use with HP and Dell laptops with Vista Home operating systems. Works well with my Naturally Speaking Dragon Speak programs, dvds, and other media programs. Worth the money.

I received mine today. Work just fine with all of the applications I have tested….iTunes, Ventrilo, World of Warcraft, etc. My Vent buddies tell me they sound better than the wired headset I was previously using.

I can get out of range when moving laterally 25 feet or so, but it re-acquires the signal after I move upstairs and get within 20 or so feet line of sight.

Setup was super easy; plug in the dongle, turn on the headset, and DONE.

Very happy with this purchase; Headset is light and comfortable. The boom mic will not interfere with pizza slices or martini glasses.

I only wish the volume/mute controls were on the left side so I wouldn’t have to take my hand off my mouse - lefties rejoice!

Agree with previous comments regarding adjustability for large heads…I wish it had an extra 1/2 inch to expand; hence only 4 stars.

4 Stars Broken on MacOSX 10.5.4
Recording sound wasn’t working with this headset. Every 40 seconds it would garble the sound.

After returning one headset and getting a new one, at Logitech support’s suggestion, I rebooted my MacPro into Windows.

Worked great in Windows, not at all on Mac, on the very same machine.

Conclusion: Broken in 10.5.4 at the very least.

So hold off if you’re on a Mac.

I bought this for my niece to go with the sweet little Dell for her birthday. It is a lighter pink than the laptop so was a bit jarring. I bought the same laptop for myself after seeing hers, but got a different mouse only in that it’s color matches the computer. THAT is not what anyone buying the mouse other than us girls cares about. It is a sweet little mouse, fits the hand smoothly and performs responsively. She likes it very much.

I have had this mouse for a few hours now, and I felt compelled to write this review. Right away when I got it and plugged it in, it started working. It is much better than my previous Microsoft mouse which ended up quitting on me after a few months. Even I can’t attest to how well it works after time, I can observe how light it is, how it is to navigate with it, and how easy it is to scroll with it. I also love how it plugs in on the bottom when your not using it to conserve power and that it has an off/on switch so you can turn it off without unplugging the receiver. This is a fantastic ambidextrous mouse. It was easily recognized by the computer running Windows XP. My wife took one of these to work to help her relieve the tension in her right hand from running the work mouse too much. When here hand gets tired, she uses one of these to operate with her left hand. Both mice will work at the same time.

I use both a key pad laptop and a table top mouse. When it became apparent that my key pad talent was limited, and complicated by going back and forth, I opted for a common denominator mouse, small for easy portability. Based on superior, past experiences with Logitech products, I tried out the V450 Cordless Laser mouse. How sweet it is, especially the comfortable, simple ergonomics. After 3 weeks, I can say you need look no further. Even if you are ham handed, it should be easier to adapt to than using both a key pad and mouse, and why would you even consider a cord?Logitech V450 Cordless Laser Mouse

1 Star POOR EXPERIENCE
After buying this mouse a few month ago I was never able to get the features to work using “set point”. I contacted Logitech and tryed every solution they suggested but nothing worked. Finally they admitted defeat, but never offered a replacement. I note on forums that there are lots of problems. Yesterday the unit failed completely when the “laser” quit. I am going back to anything but Logitech.

I got this mouse because the wire on the mouse that came w/ my laptop was a little too short to reach throught the wire manager at the back of my desk & back up to the keyboard tray. Unfortuantely this mouse can’t seem to get decent reception at this distanc. The straightline distance is 3 to 4 feet, with the desk surface in between. The performance is exceedingly choppy (useless).

The mouse works OK when I move it up onto the desk, but if I wanted it this close I wouldn’t need a wireless mouse. I might use it when travelling, but it is worthless in my office.

In a word this mouse is great. I use mine with a Macbook Pro and it works perfectly. Very simple to use: just plug in the USB stick and the computer instantly recognized it. It works smoothly, no jumps or jitters, and fairly long battery life (depending on what brand battery used). It also works in mid-air, held upside down! (Well at least the scroll wheel does). Plus, it’s durable; I’ve dropped mine a couple of times (not from a great height though), and it has had no affect on the mouse. I’ve had this thing for almost two years and it just keeps on truckin’…what a great, little mouse!

I paid $15.44 for this, including shipping. It got here very quickly. It was my last Christmas purchase…days later than the others - and yet it got here quicker than most of the other orders.

I took it out of the package - plugged it in - and it didn’t seem to work. So, I decided to go to the website and download the software (like the package recommended) and while I was getting set to do that, it started working. So, I didn’t even download the software. I will later, if it becomes an issue. (I guess it just needed a minute to get settled in…lol.)

Note: Beware that you may have to get used to the fast tracking. I went in to my settings and tried to set it slower, but that really didn’t help. But, besides that, I have no issues.

I loved the idea of this little mouse, unfortunately when I got mine, the left mouse button didn’t work. I checked and rechecked to see if I had to program that button in the software. I tried it on multiple computers in our house, and that left button still did not work. Had to return it… Don’t know if I just got a lemon or what.

1 Star Not a mouse for power users
Honestly, perhaps the most pathetic mouse I have ever handled. And I’m surprised. I did a lot of research before buying it, and was expecting a good mouse. I have used the Logitech MX 1000, the very best mouse they have ever made bar-none, and the LX7, not a bad mouse either, but I lost the receiver for it, and needed a new one.

So, the main issue with this mouse. Control. You have none. The thing just bounces all over the show with a mind of its own. Scrolling is a total and complete joke. There’s a profound lack of consistency in anything the mouse does. You should be able to get used to a mouse to the point that you know exactly what hand movement is needed to click any spot on your screen. Not with this mouse, it’s all guess work. Clicks often don’t register, and when clicking and dragging, the cursor often just stays still as you’re dragging the mouse.

So this mouse is going back today. Sorry Amazon, not your fault, but if you sell a crappy item, you’re asking for it.

And yes, I do find it odd that all these reviews are so good here. Perhaps they are Windows PC users who are simply not use to the level of control and pin-point accuracy we ARE used to on the Mac.

With 300+ reviews already given, I reckon all the important info and issues have been discussed. So, I will simply say, as a MacBook user, I love this Mouse. It’s not the first wireless mouse I’ve used, but thus far, it is definitely the best. As the product’s documentation suggested for Mac users, I downloaded the software from the given website—with no problem, and I was using my new mouse with no worries in just a few minutes. I also purchased an Imak Ergo Beads wrist pillow too, which is very comfortable support. The mouse and pillow make a great combination.

I like the function and design of the Logitech Mouse, and I am glad that the company made this fine product compatible with Macs. In fact, I never liked scroll wheels until I had this mouse. Now, I am a fan of that feature! LOL

I’ve had this mouse for about a month. All in all, it’s been great, with only a few issues. The mouse tracks extremely well on nearly any surface, and is accurate enough for photoshop work. The back/forward buttons are well placed, and the main buttons have good feedback. The zoom and search features seem fairly useless and require installing the software to work.

In my opinion, the vx revolution’s worst aspect is the scroll wheel. The free-spinning setting is difficult to use as it lacks any form of precision, though it can scroll a fairly infinite number of pages at a time. When fully engaged, the gearing on the scroll wheel provides an excessive amount of feedback. I generally use the “midpoint” position on the adjuster (which is prone to inadvertant adjustments), but this setting is not ideal for long documents.

The USB receiver is quite large compared to logitech’s “nano” series mice, but the vx revolution does include a useful storage compartment. Inserting or ejecting the mouse turns the power off or on, respectively.

It’s worth the money,it’s an investment that will put a smile on your face when you order it, when the package arrives, when you unbox it, when you get the feel of it, and when you fully utilize it. That’s right, I’m absolutely obsessed with this gadget. I even use it for my desktop, despite the fact that I used to detest wireless mouse. But Logitech proved me wrong, and I absolutely adore this mouse. I dare to vouch for this mouse, you will not be disappointed. VX revolution rules!!!

5 Stars Mighty Mouse
When my Microsoft mouse finally died, I purchased this mouse with a lot of skepticism. All of those doubts were put to rest after I downloaded the updated software and made a few user-preferred changes. There are a lot of positive reviews about this mouse so I’ll summarize the features I really like. The desktop software tells exactly how many days of power remains on the batteries, in addition to the LED light on the mouse. On my first day it promised to run for about 187 days on (2) AAA batteries. So far I’ve used this mouse exclusively at home with my laptop in a docking station. I use my computer almost everyday for at least 6-8 hours. I leave it powered on all the time and have kept a very close eye on its power consumption. After nearly 3 months, I have 157 days of power remaining. Which means not only is the power gauge accurate but the automatic “standby” mode in the mouse is working properly.

The receiver (dongle) is small enough to leave plugged-in the laptop, so I do. Another reviewer said that the mouse turned off when they removed the battery cover while the transmitter was still on - that didn’t happen to me - happily, the mouse stayed on. The receiver has a storage slot located underneath the battery cover.

All of the buttons work wonderfully and are easy to re-program using the software. Although I have long fingers, my thumb couldn’t reach the “forward & back” thumb-buttons. Instead, I use my index finger. In doing so, I found that the “back” button is raised just enough to feel the change between it and the “forward” button - without having to look at it. The laser tracks accurately on all surfaces and is actually better than my previous mouse, which was sensitive to colored surfaces. The carrying case is sturdy with good material.

Installation and set-up was easy. I did it (plus downloaded the software update) without reading the instructions. Changing the button functions to suit my preferences was also very easy and intuitive by using the software. Everything was done on a Windows XP system and not my MAC or VISTA. Anyone that uses a MAC knows that a 5-button mouse is 4 too many. So, I’ll probably program those buttons to do something else - when that time comes.

I’m very satisfied with this mouse and have thrown away the box, which is a sure sign that it’s a keeper! By the way, this mouse was nearly half-the-price of my previous one and 3% of the basic price of my laptop. The only way I won’t buy it again is if no one is selling it.

5 Stars Good Things Come in Small Packages!
Or at least in this case they do. Overall I think that it’s a wonderful product with one of the best (and coolest) features that I’ve ever seen for a notebook computer…a NANO receiver!!!! Now in this day in age where we throw around all kinds of ‘cool’ names to make up suckers, I mean consumers, purchase things that we probably don’t need, THIS IS AWESOME! Why? I can now place this TINY wireless receiver in the back of my laptop and literally forget about it. I’m able to (almost) throw my laptop in my Swiss Gear backpack and not worry about such things as “Did I remove the receiver?” and others to ensure that you don’t snap it off of your laptop. Still worried about loosing the receiver or in some other way damage it? When you’re finished on your notebook (or computer) you can actually store the receiver IN the mouse!

As far as the actual mouse, it is a little smaller than I’d prefer, but I’m not using it to game with. It does (as Logitech usually does) include a lot of options to configure the mouse with software wise and features all of the standard mouse options like tilt-wheel and others. The “find” button to me is rather useless so I changed it to act like the middle mouse button (this you can do in the software) BUT if you’d prefer it will perform searches on selected text on your favorite search engine or some other random tasks. Battery life has been great so far, easy on and off functions, I don’t have to worry about it turning on in my backpack. Another nice feature is that it also comes with an actually higher quality case to carry it. This mouse is also VERY smooth. For some reason, the way that they designed the bottom enables it to glide along almost any surface much better than any other mouse that I’ve tried.

Overall, I think it’s a wonderful product that is built exceptionally well as well as great styling thrown in the mix. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an attractive, smooth mouse that will be PERFECT for traveling!

I’ve been using this for about 6 weeks. So far so good. I was used to Microsoft but my last optical corded model didn’t last long so I thought I’d try Logitech cordless. Feels good in the hand and shuts off when not in use. Time will tell the full story.

2 Stars Eats Batteries TOO FAST!
I got this product several months ago - early on it took 4-5 days or more to use up the batteries… in recent weeks it’s gotten down to a day or two, and is regularly stalling/skipping in it’s movement. I don’t know if it’s a flaw in the mouse or the receiver, or the batteries perhaps. Additionally, the receiver is HUGE compared to the little usb plugs that most other wireless mice use these days. It was a perfect size for my hand - very comfortable. The scroll wheel was less smooth in its motion than the more pricey options, which was to be expected. I didn’t really like the battery compartment - was a little difficult to remove the batteries without using something thin and hard (such as a pen tip or ruler edge) - particularly if you don’t have long fingernails.
