Panasonic KX TG9334T DECT 6 0 Expandable Cordless Digital Answering Phone System with 4 Handsets Black

The KX-TG9334T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won’t ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who’s sleeping. Now you don’t have to be holding the phone to see who’s calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID2 information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9334T also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it’s time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a Please Charge Phone reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone’s Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Cordless phones
We like the cordless phone system. It is very handy to have four phones. We don’t always understand what the caller id voice announcement is saying (especially when you have entered a name into the phone book), but it is a nice feature.

5 Stars Nearly perfect
This is close to being the very best cordless phone system ever. It does have a just a few flaws. One of which is that if there is a voice message waiting, there is no audible tone to alert you (only a small blinking led on top of the phone). That, along wtih some additional very picky tiny probs do not really take away from what is probably the nearly perfect cordless phone ever! i love it and will not have to buy another for a very long time.

5 Stars GOOD PRODUCT
Good product, clear sound, good range, easy to use, the ring tones a bit ugly, I recommend this model, also has good price.

3 Stars good, but
The phone is good but– I really miss the indicator on the answering machine telling me how many new calls I have. My old Panasonic phone had that.

My biggest complaint is the orange “charging light” on the handset. If you have any desire to use this as a bedside phone and like to sleep in a dark room- DON’T GET THIS PHONE! The solid orange light is annnoying enough but if you haven’t listened to all your messages before going to bed, it flashes. So then I have to sit up put on my glasses, figure out the unintuitive menu and listen to some politician’s message. By that time, I am irritated at the phone and wide awake!!! I end up putting it in the night stand drawer many nights.

The phone quality is good although sometimes I can hear an echo of what I am saying which is weird. And I love having the same phone all throught the house so if I carry the upstairs phone down, I don’t have to spend a long time looking for it since I can just grab another handset.

2 Stars Can’t Do Two Things At Once
The Bad, which is making me return the item:

When one phone is answered upstairs, by say your children; you can’t check the caller id of the call while they are on the phone. Get “system busy” message. Or even while one handset is checking caller id, another handset cannot. If you’re at the base listening to voice messages, a handset can’t check the caller id. Why have multiple handsets then? Makes it useless for me. My prior Vtech from 4 years ago could do all this.

The Good:

Range.

Sound/clarity.
